May 22 marked an important milestone for the Philadelphia Cycling Classic: 100 Days until the race returns to our streets. This moment is about more than a number on the calendar. It’s the point where anticipation turns into action—and where the energy around the Classic starts to feel unmistakably real.
The Classic is no longer something we talk about in the future tense. It’s happening, this summer, right here in Philadelphia.

Why 100 Days Out Matters
For us, the 100 Days Out milestone is a reminder of what makes the Philadelphia Cycling Classic special. This isn’t just a sporting event; it’s a shared civic experience. One that belongs to Philadelphians and lives in our communities and alongside the places we love.
How We Celebrated
As we hit this milestone, we marked the moment in a way that reflects the spirit of the Classic: community first, citywide, and rooted in local pride.
Co-hosted with Parks on Tap, our 100 Days Out Pep Rally brought together riders, fans, and local organizations for a high-energy evening along the Schuylkill River, beginning with a citywide group ride that culminated in a celebratory arrival and toast.

From there, the celebration carried into a lively waterfront party featuring a live DJ, food and drinks, giveaways, and a short on-stage program with event leaders and partners—creating a vibrant, community-driven moment that captured the spirit of Philadelphia.
Momentum Is Building—and You’re Invited
The next 100 days will be filled with stories, collaborations, and opportunities to get involved. Whether you’re a longtime fan who remembers cheering at the Wall or along Main Street Manayunk, a business preparing to welcome race day crowds, or someone experiencing the Classic for the first time, there’s a place for you in this countdown.
Follow along. Share the excitement. Participate in the moments ahead. This is a citywide build‑up, and everyone has a role to play.

Looking Ahead
On August 30, the Philadelphia Cycling Classic returns—not just as a race, but as a celebration of the city itself. The road to race day starts now, and with 100 days to go, the energy is unmistakable.
The countdown is on. The Classic is back. Philly is ready.
