FAQ
  • The women’s race begins at 8:30 a.m., and the men’s race begins at 12:30 p.m.

  • Spectators will be able to watch from any location along the circuit. For memorable viewing, we recommend:

The Start/Finish on Benjamin Franklin Parkway

    • This iconic stretch, running from Logan Circle to Eakins Oval in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, is the premier spot to watch the peloton start and witness the breathtaking final sprint for the win after the final lap.

    "The Wall" (Lyceum Avenue Hill)

    • Arguably the most famous and difficult part of the race, this relentless climb ascends Levering Street and Lyceum Avenue in Manayunk/Roxborough. Spectators flock here to create a fun, intense atmosphere, cheering on cyclists as they battle their way up this notorious ascent.

    Main Street, Manayunk

    • Located just before "The Wall," this area is known for its vibrant, block-party-like atmosphere and is lined with numerous restaurants and shops. Main Street is a crucial, strategic point where racers jostle for position at high speed before they hit the Manayunk Wall.

    Lemon Hil

    • Located within Fairmount Park, this short, punchy climb tests riders' speed and stamina before they head back toward the finish. The hillside is a popular spot for fans to picnic and barbecue, providing a great vantage point to see the racers' final efforts on a major climb late in the circuit.
